THE A.C.E.S. PROGRAM
A.C.E.S. operates a two-day-a-week tutoring/mentoring program which utilizes a sports-themed curriculum and structured activities to promote education and healthy life choices.
What makes A.C.E.S. unique?
1. A.C.E.S. differentiates itself from most tutoring/mentoring programs in various ways, including:
  • Sports-themed curriculum that emphasizes interactive learning via a three-step (Introduction, learn, practice) process
  • Involvement of all of the local professional sports teams (Lynx, Saints, Thunder, Timberwolves, Twins, Vikings and Wild) to help inner city youth achieve academic and personal success.
  • Focus on nutrition and fitness for life
  • Opportunities to give back to the community

  • Long-term commitment to students and families
3. A.C.E.S. measures student success based on:
