Part-Time Direct Service Staff Opportunities Are Available!
Part-Time Team Leaders, October Through May. Looking for an opportunity to have a significant impact on Twin Cities youth? Then this classroom leadership position may be for you! Join ACES as a part-time direct service staffer (Team Leader). Work study students are encouraged to apply.

Call for Direct Service Volunteer Tutor/Mentors!
ACES after-school programs start in early October, and volunteer tutor/mentors are a key part of what makes ACES a meaningful and valuable experience for our students. We ask that volunteers commit to at least eight weeks of service (immediate need is early October to mid December), one day a week, approximately 2.5 hours per week.

There are four school sites to choose from for your volunteer tutor/mentor experience: south Minneapolis (Green Central), north Minneapolis (Olson Middle School), the east side of St. Paul (Farnsworth Aerospace), and the West 7th Street neighborhood of St. Paul (Linwood-Monroe Arts Plus).

Part-Time Site Leaders, October Through May (positions full for 2012-13 school year). Site Leaders work with ACES Program Coordinators and manage ACES classroom staff and volunteers to ensure the effective, quality delivery of ACES after-school tutor/mentor programming at a specific ACES school site. Site Leaders focus on enhancing family involvement strategies, implementing an effective youth-engagement plan and best practices for direct-service volunteers and staff, and assisting with service-learning opportunities. This is a fast-paced job that requires excellent organization and communication skills. Prior experience working with youth is a must.
