Director of Development
Reporting to and working in close partnership with the Executive Director, the Director of Development will be responsible for the overall leadership and operations of the organization’s development functions. He or she will be charged with envisioning and executing a comprehensive fundraising strategy to advance the mission of ACES by maximizing the philanthropic potential of its various constituencies (individuals, corporations, and foundations). If you have a passion for urban education and a genuine love of fundraising, you would find this role both professionally exciting and personally rewarding This is a fast-paced job that requires excellent organization and communication skills. Paid Site Leaders
October through May
Lead ACES programming at one of our many sites around the Twin Cities. Ensure the effective, quality delivery of ACES after-school tutor/mentor programming. Site Leaders focus on enhancing family involvement strategies, implementing an effective youth-engagement plan and best practices for direct-service volunteers and staff; and assisting with service-learning opportunities. Paid Team Leaders (Summer)
June through August
Looking to directly impact Twin Cities youth? Then this classroom leadership position may be for you! Join ACES as a part-time direct service Team Leader. Work study students are encouraged to apply. Team Leaders work approximately 18 hours/week, four days per week, with shifts falling between 10:00am and 1:00pm. Check out the position description and application here. Volunteer Classroom Leader
Sign up now to be a direct service Volunteer Classroom Leader at one of our Minneapolis or St. Paul school sites. ACES Volunteer Classroom Leaders take an active role in improving the academic progress of our urban students by working directly with youth in a classroom setting. We ask for a minimum time commitment of 2.5 hours, once a week, late afternoon from October through May. This is an opportunity to make a real impact on urban youth in the Twin Cities!
