The A.C.E.S. Organization |
|
Athletes Committed to Educating Students (A.C.E.S.) is an after-school tutoring/mentoring organization for inner-city
fourth through eighth graders.
Founded in 1994, A.C.E.S.
began with 13 students at Wilder School (Powderhorn
Community School) in Minneapolis. A.C.E.S.
now serves over 350 students
annually at three Twin
Cities’ program sites: Monroe Community in St.
Paul, and Richard Green Central and Cityview Magnet in Minneapolis. A.C.E.S. program sites are
in lower-income areas and at
lower-achieving schools. |
