ACES Announces Staff Promotion

ACES is proud to announce that Anna Wienke has been promoted to full-time Volunteer & Events Coordinator.

“After nearly two years with ACES, I continue to become more involved and am so pleased to have been offered the opportunity to become the ACES Volunteer & Events Coordinator!” Anna said. “Starting out at ACES as a volunteer myself, I feel I have the experience and tools necessary to recruit and support this vital part of our ACES team.”

Anna joined ACES in 2008 as a volunteer tutor/mentor for middle school students at Green Central School and was hired as a part-time Special Events Coordinator in 2009.

“Anna is another example of an individual coming to ACES as a volunteer and working her way into an expanded role,” said ACES Executive Director Chad Caruthers. “She has a natural talent with people, and without question will raise ACES’ volunteer corps to new heights and continue to enhance both ACES’ school and fundraising events.”

In her new role, Anna is responsible for all ACES volunteer and personnel recruitment, and will continue to plan and execute ACES fundraising and school-site events. Congratulations Anna!
