ACES Names New Executive Director

Chad Caruthers is the new executive director for ACES. He brings a diverse communications and management background, plus a deep familiarity with ACES, to the position.

Chad joined ACES in 2005 as a part-time team leader. After earning his master's of education at the University of Minnesota, he joined ACES' full-time staff as a program coordinator in time for the 2006-07 school year. Chad ran the Lincoln Community School ACES program for two years and successfully launched ACES at Cityview School, both in north Minneapolis.

As development & marketing coordinator for ACES, Chad has been an integral part of developing ACES’ strategic plan and communicating the organization’s purpose and passion for helping inner-city youth close the achievement gap. He has also effectively led ACES into the age of Web 2.0 and social networking.
