Vikings Children's Fund Awards ACES $5,000

The Minnesota Vikings are a longtime preferred partner with ACES. Vikings visit students at ACES school sites and students take part in special on-field activities at Vikings games, for example. Another component is the ongoing support of the Vikings Children's Fund. Most recently, in December 2009 the Vikings Children's Fund awarded ACES with a $5,000 grant.

The Vikings Children's Fund is a means for Vikings players, coaches, staff and their families to focus their community support. Its mission is to the rally the resources of the Vikings, the University of Minnesota Department of Pediatrics, the corporate community, and Vikings fans in an effort to support the many needs of children’s charities in the throughout the Upper Midwest. The Vikings Children’s Fund grant history now totals over $8.5 million dollars.
