Twins Wives Host ACES Students!

What's better than going to a Twins game? How about going to a Twins game with full VIP status? That's what 14 students experienced on September 20, 2010. Natalie Punto, wife of Twins player Nick Punto, and the Twins Wives Organization hosted the students in recognition of the students outstanding performance during the 2009-10 school year.

The evening started early, with students receiving special goodie bags from Natalie and the wives upon entering the stadium. After that, the first stop was the front row to take in batting practice. Nick Punto visited the group and was quickly joined by Twins pitcher Kevin Slowey. Students collected autographs on their goodie bags, Homer Hankies, and even on the ACES shirts on their backs!

After a quick stop at concessions, the students took in the game from seats behind home plate. The Twins defeated the Cleveland Indians 9-3, and the students learned that hard work in ACES pays in a big way!
