Tim Welle Joins ACES Board of Directors
ACES welcomes Tim Welle as its newest member of its Board of Directors and as the first Chair of ACES Young Professionals Associate Board. Tim's primary function as a Director and YPAB Chair will be to provide an active link between the ACES Board and the YPAB. Here is more about Tim, in his own words:
Over the past five years, I have had the good fortune of increasing my involvement with ACES as my career has progressed. I've learned about the students’ dreams, hopes, and struggles in a way that helped me understand the critical nature of education and mentoring. As the students grow and mature, education is the linchpin to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to survive in today’s workplace.
I hold a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Economics from the University of St. Thomas. Currently, I am employed at the BioBusiness Alliance of Minnesota, an economic development organization focused on life science based industries. The companies I work with are high growth, high potential companies in the biobased materials industry. My employment has spanned the last four years, starting as an intern in 2007, and beginning full time employment in December 2009.
I look forward to continuing to grow my commitment and capability to support the long-term health and growth of the ACES organization.
