Welcome 2011-12 AmeriCorps Promise Fellows!
Minnesota Alliance with Youth works to support schools and communities in their efforts to build capacity and deliver the fundamental resources young people need to succeed. For the past several years, ACES has partnered with the Alliance: AmeriCorps Promise Fellows hosted by the Alliance work with ACES for one year, helping to improve and deliver ACES' academic after-school tutor/mentor programming.
For the 2011-12 school year, ACES welcomes three new Promise Fellows for the 2011-12 school year: Amanda Duhon, Annie Hanrahan, and Kit Alviz; plus returning Promise Fellow Emily Vogel. Each will be the site leader at one of ACES four school sites, focusing on programming, volunteer management, and service learning.
