ACES Students Enjoy a WILD Time!

ACES partners with many local professional and college sports teams. Field trips and free tickets to games are great incentives for students to attend ACES, and to be active and engaged students committed to their academics, behavior, and community.

On Tuesday, September 27, nine sixth graders from ACES went to the Minnesota Wild game! For many of the youth and chaperones, this was their first time viewing a live hockey game, and it was a treat to experience it in a private suite at Xcel Energy Center.

“I love this game. The players switch out on the ice and they don’t have to wait for a time out,” a student commented. All enjoyed the fast-paced game and excitement, and the experience concluded with a surprise visit from the Wild mascot, Nordy!
