Open Positions
Temporary Program Assistant
The Program Assistant is a temporary position designed to provide additional capacity to the ACES Program Team while a member of Program Leadership is on leave. The Program Assistant will provide administrative, operational, and programmatic support to ensure the smooth delivery of programs, trainings, events, and communications. This role will work closely with the ACES Program Team to coordinate logistics, maintain program systems, support staff communication, and help create a positive experience for students and staff. This role is a hybrid role with both virtual work as well as times for in-person support throughout the weeks. This role will work closely with members of the Program Team and other ACES staff, with a designated supervisor responsible for setting priorities, providing direction, and supporting success in the role.
This Program Assistant position offers an opportunity to play an important role in the day-to-day success of our programs. You'll work across many different areas of the organization, build relationships with staff and community partners, and contribute directly to experiences and opportunities for students. No two days will look exactly the same. We're looking for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in being organized, and wants to contribute to a collaborative team environment.
Academic Coaches
Academic Coaches are ACES’s most powerful agents of change, engaging directly with students to advance education equity and prepare young learners for success in school, career, and community. Academic Coaches use ACES’s unique, hands-on curriculum to cultivate math skill and social-emotional development for a classroom of 10-15 middle school age students. Building relationships with students and families is key to success in this role — an outstanding opportunity for rising teachers and youth workers. Benefits include professional development and leadership opportunities, participation in Minnesota sports events and games, and more! Learn about the Academic Coach Cohort Model.
ACES strives to build leadership, staff, and volunteer teams that reflect our values of equity and inclusion with regard to race, ethnicity, class, culture, religion, physical ability, age, gender, gender identity, and sexual orientation. We respect the value that diverse life experiences bring to our leadership, and are committed to being nondiscriminatory and providing equal opportunities in all areas of our work. People of color and those from other marginalized communities are strongly encouraged to apply.
