2023-24 School Year Program

We know that consistency is key to impact. ACES’s daily programming, offered either before or after school, focuses on building math and social-emotional skills, while making content relevant and engaging. ACES programming consists of the following components:

  • Small-group classroom sessions: Expert Academic Coaches lead groups of students through our hands-on, project-based curriculum. Lessons reinforce the foundational mathematics concepts students learn during the school day and support social-emotional development.

  • Homework support: ACES Academic Coaches facilitate structured time for students to receive support and complete school-day homework, one-on-one or in small groups.

  • Large-group field trips: Students participate in at least one large group field trip per month. From behind-the-scenes tours of the Vikings Practice Facility to a conversation with Minnesota Twins Managers, these unique experiences help learning come to life!

ACES currently serves students at 10 partner schools: Hennepin Schools, Hiawatha College Prep, and Northeast College Prep in Minneapolis; Cherokee Heights Elementary, Global Arts Plus, Hamline Elementary, and Riverview Elementary in Saint Paul; New Millennium Academy in Brooklyn Center; and Bridgewater Elementary, and Northfield Middle School in Northfield.
